Not out the woods yet.

So sorry to be a pooper after my morning news... Doug is fine but the ultrasound detected some vaso spasms this morning - apparently heightened danger is for next 4 days...i thought we were mainly over it by 10th day but apparently not...
So, i'm going to have to be very strict with Dougies social calender for next few days - don't want to get him too excited!...i know all you lovely people are itching to get in and visit...but we're going to have to delay wine, women and song for few more days...if you're thinking of coming by please check in with me first and i can try to stagger the masses!! 206 446 6332... i know he'll be dying to see you all...

Well it seems Miles prefers to hoover than walk the dog...oh, okay then....

  1. Hi Jane,
I am so sorry to hear about all you and Doug are going through -- I had no idea until Laura thoughtfully passed some information along on Thursday! I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you -- but you appear to be holding up incredibly well, considering how you must feel on the inside. . . The very fact that you need a blog to pass on information to all the concerned parties says wonders about how much support you have out here! Take care of yourself, Jane and I do hope Doug makes a quick and speedy recovery.

  2. Jane! Greg and I are anxiously awaiting all the updates; love this blog--it is good to have a way to see how things have progressed. Such a strange, mysterious condition this is--how could such a healthy person as Doug is, have something so completely shocking and unexpected happen?! I am happy the progress has been steady, and we are keeping our fingers crossed down here in SF that he will be on his feet and out of the hospital when we come to Seattle at the end of April. Much love to all, XX Cindy & Greg
